The airline’s business class, which is consistently rated the best in the world, will now include the opulent addition of caviar starting Thursday, Qatar announced. The delicacy can be ordered as a standalone snack or as part of a meal. “The introduction of caviar service, commonly available only in first class cabins, further elevates Qatar Airways’ award-winning business class experience,” Xia Cai, Qatar Airways’ senior vice president of product development and design, said in a statement. “We are committed to continuously enhance our onboard services to elevate the industry’s standards and delight our passengers.” Qatar Airways introduces caviar to Business Class, further elevating its award-winning onboard experience. The lavish addition to its menu comes as Qatar plans to launch a 2.0 version of its Qsuite complete with companion suites in window aisles, new 4K OLED maneuverable entertainment screens, and a new AI Digital Human cabin crew member. Currently, the Qsuites feature sliding doors for privacy, center aisle suites that can be turned into double beds, and à la carte dining that can be ordered on demand. The carrier was recently named the overall best airline in the world by airline rating organization Skytrax. In the United States, Qatar flies to several major cities, including Atlanta, Miami, Houston, New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago, Seattle, and San Francisco. Beyond Qatar, several airlines offer caviar service as part of their first class experience, including Emirates’ first class suites, Etihad’s over-the-top “The Residence” suites, and Lufthansa. Travelers can also indulge in some airport lounges, like in the Reserve Suites at the Chase Sapphire Lounge by the Club that opened earlier this year in New York’s LaGuardia Airport.
