These Arch Support Sandals Are the Only Shoes I Wear in the Summer — and They’re Only $47

Whether they're platform, wedges, or classic heeled sandals, I’ve never been comfortable walking in shoes with any type of heel — and I'm more likely than most to have a decidedly ungraceful tumble if there’s ever an occasion that requires me to wear them. But, because I’m a food and travel journalist, I’m often in non-sneaker-friendly environments and need shoes that are stylish and comfortable.

For this reason, I basically live in flat comfortable sandals because of their versatility. I’m constantly in pursuit of pairs that offer the cushioning and support my feet require, especially for long walks exploring new destinations. I've had these sandals for a few months now and have packed them for a few trips. I also wear them all the time to dinners and events at home in New York City; I use them so much that I'm about to order additional colors (they come in a range of eight, from basics like black or white to fun summery shades like pink or blue). 

One main reason they’re my current favorite pair of sandals is that the sole has great air cushioning that offers tons of support while walking uphill and on long treks. (But honestly, I'm even grateful for this support when I walk up the four flights of stairs to my apartment!) The rubber outsole also offers really impressive traction, which has helped me more than a few times when it gets wet and slippery outside. I love that these sandals are easy to slip on and off because of the flexible straps. And, even when my feet are swollen from hot, humid environments or after a long flight, they still feel comfortable.
